Most of you don’t know this…my brother Lou was diagnosed with Stage 4 Prostate Cancer last April. His faith and positive outlook is such an inspiration to me and so many others.

As he continues to bravely battle this horrible thing we call cancer he signed up for his first “Closer to Free Ride” benefit where 100% of the funds raised goes directly to Smilow Cancer Center and Yale Cancer Hospital.

We all know and love someone whose life has been affected by cancer. If you’ve ever been to Smilow you know first hand the wonderful services they offer and the amazing, caring staff they employ!

Lou’s humbleness and gratitude throughout this life changing event has been a powerful example for our family. His enthusiasm and optimism is contagious!
