iPhix iPhones to the Rescue!

Remember the days when we had to memorize phone numbers? We’re lucky now if we have any phone numbers memorized. Technology has quickly become an essential part of our daily lives, a necessity for both the young and the old. We’ve become so dependent on our cell phones; not just to store our most used phone numbers, to also access a world of information in a quick internet search, to take a picture or video to capture a moment or tell a story and for quick communication and instant reply through a text. Oh, and let’s not forget about connecting with friends and family and staying up to date with the latest news and gossip through the various social media options available.

I think it’s safe to say we’ve all experienced the feeling of panic at least once after realizing we left our phone somewhere or forget a charger and the battery is on its last bar or when our phone got wet (like falling in the toilet) and we waited patiently for days to see if the bag of rice routine was going to work. And don’t forget the shattered screen when the phone accidentally slipped from our hands.

Luckily, I found iPhix iPhones, LLC a few months back when Mike became the proud owner of my daughters’ hand me down iPhone 6. She had recently cracked the screen and upgraded to the latest model and you know what they say…one man’s junk is another man’s treasure. I called around for estimates and the average price to replace the screen was $100-$150. Scrolling through Facebook one afternoon I came across iPhix iPhones, LLC. I saw a friend had liked their Facebook page so I reached out to her and received positive feedback. I contacted Chris through Facebook messenger and received his prompt response within an hour. We scheduled to meet at Dunkin in Dayville. I thought it was odd to meet there yet felt comfortable and safe as it was a public location. Chris replaced the screen and battery quickly and saved us money. Wow that was easy! Mike was now on his way to becoming addicted to the convenience of technology at his fingertips.

Now imagine you’re 11 years old and the cat knocks your phone off the counter then you toss your book bag a little harder than you should have and your phone screen shatters. It’s as if it was the end of the world! Now what?

Allie and Papa to the rescue! I messaged Chris through Facebook messenger, once again, receiving a prompt response. Off we drove to Dunkin and before Mike could finish the coffee he ordered, Chris had hooked us up with a new screen, screen protector, camera assembly and replacement parts that had been missing from when someone had previously fixed the phone. Fast and friendly service at a fair price!

If you find yourself in a similar situation DON’T PANIC! Contact Chris at iPhix iPhones, LLC and within a day or two the catastrophic event will be over. Be sure to tell him Out and About Allie sent you!

iPhix iPhones, LLC fixes iPads, too, and accepts cash and credit cards.  (860)753-0405
